Overview
KodaOTP (IVerify) is an OTP-based identity verification application, built as a solo full-stack engagement covering both the Angular frontend and the Laravel backend.
Challenge
Identity verification flows need to be both secure and frictionless — heavy verification steps that slow users down tend to get abandoned, while overly light flows create fraud risk. The client needed a single engineer who could own both the security-critical backend and the user-facing frontend to keep those two concerns properly aligned.
Solution
Designed and built the system end-to-end as the sole engineer: architecture, API design, OTP/identity verification logic on the Laravel backend, and the full Angular frontend consuming it. Owning both layers meant verification requirements could be reflected directly in the UI without translation loss between separate frontend and backend teams.
